About The Producers
Louise Telford is the owner and director of boutique event management company, Elle Events & Productions, producing large scale corporate and charity gala dinners, international conferences, and bespoke corporate entertainment productions for the past thirteen years. As a fiercely focused and dedicated individual, Louise is not only constantly refining and improving her services to meet the high demands of her clients but takes great pleasure in finding new ways to combine her true passions.
As a former dancer herself, Louise has a deep love and appreciation of the Performing Arts. From 2008 – 2016 she was the Performing Arts Director of Global Dance Tours, providing once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for over 5000 Australian dance students and their families to tour the USA, Asia and Europe, where she facilitated performances and workshops at some of the world’s most esteemed dance centres and venues. With her history as a dancer and her love of the arts, Louise created and delivered these amazing experiences to help inspire and educate the next generation of performers.
Another of Louise’s passion projects was founding and directing the KidsXpress Dance Challenge, the only dance competition in Australia with 100% of their proceeds donated to charity. Over the event’s incredible ten-year run, Louise raised over $500,000 for KidsXpress, while providing performance opportunities to thousands of NSW Performing Arts students.
In January 2016, Louise produced a nationwide tour of Australia starring US teen dance sensations Maddie & Mackenzie Ziegler. The tour saw over 10,000 Australian students and parents experience exclusive workshops and shows with the incredible Ziegler sisters.
Louise is so very excited to be collaborating with Australian Performing Arts icon Kelley Abbey on the Light The Way Dance Collective and is looking forward to many more ventures, all in the name of continuing to celebrate the wonderful Australian dance and entertainment industry.
